Teige is a theatre artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Theatre Performance from Belmont University, having also spent a semester training in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Teige seeks to collaborate with artists and creatives of all kinds, with a great love for delving into, absorbing, and incorporating the processes of painters, musicians, novelists, sculptors, composers, poets, dancers, and others into the art of Theatre. He loves creatives such as Rimbaud, Picasso, Octavio Paz, Suzan-Lori Parks, Roberto Bolaño, Goethe, Shakespeare (obviously), and many others.
As a writer, his play The Rehearsal was performed under the title It Felt Like a Kiss at Belmont University in Fall of 2023. Additionally, he has co-developed a new play cycle entitled A Small Part of The Interesting Story alongside his dear friend and collaborator Abigail McCurdy.
